Dr. Mohamed Al Kuwaiti has served as the Head of Cyber Security for the UAE Government since 2020, appointed by the Cabinet. In this capacity, he chairs the UAE Cyber Security Council and is the Managing Director of the National Data Centre under the Supreme Council for National Security. He leads the development and execution of the nation’s cybersecurity strategy, advancing UAE’s position as a global leader in digital trust and resilience. Under his leadership, the UAE rose from 47th to 5th in the ITU Global Cybersecurity Index and achieved several world records in cybersecurity initiatives. He has fostered extensive public-private partnerships and international cooperation, enhancing cyber capabilities and policy frameworks. A respected academic and speaker, Dr. Al Kuwaiti also holds multiple advisory roles and continues to shape the future of cybersecurity both nationally and globally.
